“Iconic” and “spiritual” are two words that only begin to describe the wearable art that this designer creates – jewelry that is powerful and beautiful, rooted in the cultures and mysticism of many lands.  Luis Morais interprets these ideas, transforming them into unique expressions of self-adornment.

Born in Londrina, Brazil, Luis was surrounded by a spirituality that permeated his nation’s entire population, regardless of religious upbringing or social status.  He traveled extensively to the four corners of the planet, cultivating a vast and varied view of the mystical.  Upon returning to Brazil, he dedicated his efforts to the textile industry. In 1998 Luis decided to settle in Miami.  In 2000 his life’s direction was changed forever.  He saw a bracelet in a magazine ad, which captivated him.  After trying to find and purchase it unsuccessfully, Luis decided to make the piece himself. Not only did he receive compliments on the bracelet, but also many requests to create more.  The rest as they say is history!
