Vivienne Westwood is the British fashion designer largely responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream.

She is linked with the Sex Pistols via Malcolm McLaren and their SEX boutique in London in the 1970's. Westwood has since gone on to carve out an inimitable niche for her punk rock attitude to fashion, romantic tailoring, skillful corsetry and signature tough-chic accessories. Today she remains one of the world’s most influential fashion designers of the 20thcentury.
